The Interior Design Show

In commemorating the 25th year of the Interior Design Show (IDS), Sali Tabacchi has created a new visual identity that celebrates its Canadian roots and increasing international recognition. Our studio has been working with IDS since 2010, evolving the brand over time.

New Logo: The newly crafted logo/word-mark arranges the typography of ‘The Interior Design Show’ in a manner where details click into place within a grid format, providing an overall sense of formal harmony and purpose. The use of bold typography reflects the show’s strong ambitions.

New Colours: The primary colours, red and white, symbolize IDS’s representation of Canadian design.

New Visuals: The acronym ‘IDS’ is highlighted by playfully selecting the letters from design-related statements and word-patterns. This aims to express how these ideas are embedded within the show’s DNA.
